About Russell Jokela

Russell Jokela brings 13 years of estate planning experience, including nearly 4 years as a licensed California attorney handling client matters directly. Before founding Jokela Estate Law, he served as the lead responsible attorney for more than 250 clients at a dedicated estate planning firm, handling work involving more than $750 million in combined reported assets.
That depth of hands-on experience means clients benefit from an attorney who has guided hundreds of families through the process and who understands the practical details — not just the legal theory — of estate planning, trust administration, and probate in California.
Russell was married in 2017 to his wonderful wife and partner, Jessica, and together they have two sons: Noah Simeon Jokela (born October 2020) and Avi Asher Jokela (born May 2025). He also enjoys playing pickleball in the community, and especially singles pickleball, if anyone is interested!
